ORIENTEERING MEETING
2014
We have vision to organize orienteering events in Croatia on high quality maps, interesting and demanding orienteering areas and to provide you excelent training posibility. Our members have been participating on several WOC, WC, EOC, WMOC, EYOC, JWOC and other top orienteering events making one of best Croatian results. Now we want to bring that great feeling of running on big event but on our home ground - Croatia! Therfore we set two big goals for our club:

EYOC 2016
First, we want to show beauty of Croatian island of Krk to Europaean youth orienteering stars on unique island terrain!
EYOC 2016 on Adriatic shore would for sure be real o-challenge for any orienteer with network of stone wals - completly made by human hand during many centuries with pines, olives and many lazy sheep ;).
Beside that town of Krk would provide many interesting route-choises with narrow street network and great cultural heritage - sounds perfect for sprint event, don´t you think?
So, OK Ris Delnice will hand out (if Croatian orienteering federation agrees) candidature for EYOC 2016!
And finaly, idea that we kept in club for a long time - to organize one of bigest events in orienteering - World Masters Orienteering Championships!
WMOC 2018 would be organized on both mountain terrains above 1000 m and Adriatic shore with finish area on Adriatic sea.
New areas never used for orienteering before - such as Croatian biathlon centre Zagmajna, or plateu Matić Poljana (largest Croatian freezing point) with qualification races on famous Delnice and Crni lug maps and offcourse town of Krk will quarantee real orienteering on Croatian diverse terrains.
So, OK Ris Delnice will hand out (if Croatian orienteering federation agrees) candidature for WMOC 2018!
